Frank J. Bailey was appointed a U.S. Bankruptcy Judge on January 30, 2009, and he served as Chief Judge. He received his undergraduate degree from Georgetown University and JD from Suffolk University. Judge Bailey served as the President of the National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges and served as the Judicial Member at Large on the ABA Board of Governors. He has testified before Congress twice and has taught law school classes. Judge Bailey retired from judicial service on June 1, 2022. On June 2, 2022, Judge Bailey joined PioneerLegal, LLC, a non-profit, public interest law firm as its inaugural president.
