Whether it’s your first Section or ABA meeting, we’re so excited to host you at the ABA Business Law Fall Meeting! Use this guide to help you prepare the meeting.
Review schedules on the Fall Meeting website to review online schedules to plan meetings and programs that you would like to attend. Remember that all events open to all meeting attendees unless noted otherwise!
Our high-quality CLE programs are developed by business law experts with interactive Q&A opportunities while committee and subcommittee meetings provide substantive discussions covering emerging business law trends or discussions about the work of the group, some of which feature exciting guest speakers.
Use the star icon next to event names to add events to your Favorites calendar for easy reference, or export the event reminder directly to your calendar.
Kick off the meeting by joining other first-time attendees (“first-timers”) for a special welcome breakfast hosted by Incoming Business Law Section Chair Nikki Munro. Get to know other first-timers and chat with Section leaders to gain insight on making the most of the meeting and your Section membership. The breakfast will take place Thursday, September 7 from 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM PT.
The Section Lounge is your destination for meeting information and networking. Registration, the Membership Concierge, and the Section Bookstore can all be found in the Section Lounge, located in the International Terrace, Terrace Level
Complimentary continental breakfast is served every morning while coffee and refreshments are available throughout the day.
The Business Law Section Health Club hosts daily guided running and walking activities each morning.
Network with business law professionals from across the country at our daily complimentary receptions. Many committees will be hosting off-site dinners on Thursday evening; stop by Registration to purchase a ticket.
Thursday and Friday feature signature receptions for all attendees to network while enjoying cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. Kick off the Meeting on Thursday evening at the Welcome Reception. Then celebrate the Section's commitment to diversity and inclusion at the Diversity Networking Reception on Friday evening. Whether you are a first-time attendee or a meeting veteran, you won’t want to miss these opportunities to catch up with colleagues, make new friends, and create connections.
